A gym and fitness management web application with a dedicated API backend. The project separates the user-facing Next.js application from a Node.js/Express API with MongoDB, giving the platform a clean architecture with independent frontend and backend responsibilities.
Built both the frontend and the backend API architecture. Set up the Express/MongoDB stack, designed the database schema, implemented seed scripts for test data, and established the API contracts connecting the frontend to the backend service layer.
