Unified Healthcare Interface (UHI)

A healthcare service discovery platform combining a structured Next.js frontend with an AI-assisted search layer. Built as the application context for research into reliable, constraint-aware retrieval — making it easier for users to find the right healthcare service through semantic understanding, not just keyword matching.

Engineering Scope & Contribution

Built the complete Next.js frontend including structured healthcare service data, mock API layer (MSW), React Query data-fetching workflows, role-aware routing, and dashboard workflows. The application serves as both a working prototype and the test environment for the AI-assisted discovery research.

Key Milestones & Production Highlights

Research direction: 'Reliable AI-Assisted Healthcare Service Discovery Using Semantic Retrieval and Constraint Validation.' The study proposes comparing semantic retrieval against keyword-based search, applying deterministic validation for hard constraints, and measuring retrieval accuracy and constraint violation rates against manually labelled query sets.
